Lyon’s Lumière Festival Draws a Record-Breaking 185,000 Attendees in 2025

The 17th edition of the Lumière Festival in Lyon, held from October 11 to 19, 2025, once again confirmed its status as one of the world’s leading events dedicated to the heritage of cinema.

Over 185,000 festivalgoers attended screenings, exhibitions, and professional events, welcomed by a team of 800 volunteers across the city.
